Viña Albali Reserva

Origin: Viña Albali Reserva is 100% pressed from Tempranillo. The grapes for this sophisticated wine were strictly selected so that the bases would be laid for a wine typical of this variety with notes of vanilla and spices.

Variety: 100% Tempranillo, also known as Cencibel in Valdepeñas

Wine preparation: To retain the tannins, the wine is rotated constantly while being gently fermented and the tannins can meld elegantly into the wine. Next comes a temperature-controlled fermentation.  This wine is kept in American oak barrels for at least 1 year before being bottled. It may now remain another three to four years prior to its definitive Reserva ageing, and only then is it released for sale.

Tasting notes: Bright ruby red with cherry red reflexes in the glass.  Rich red tones, ripe fruits with echoes of vanilla, spices and dark berries. The tannin is pleasant on the palate, presenting itself first lightly, then becoming more full-bodied and meatier. A harmonious, lingering aftertaste.

Recommendations: It is the ideal accompaniment for grills, poultry, game and Manchego cheese. Ideally, it is served at around 16°/ 17° C. Its ageing potential is a further six to eight years.

Alcohol content: 13% vol.
